A big part of it is the Sheep Mentality when it comes to Obama. I just don’t get it. The sentiment I see is that if your not for Obama you need to drink more of the kool aid and you’ll see how right Obama is. While the sheep/lemming mentality is not new, it has taken on a renewed vigor with some very vocal Obama faithful.
Another part of it is his lack of leadership, like McCain, when it came to the bail out bill. Granted Obama has never stated he is against earmarks. What he should have done was to take the lead and say that the bill was not right with all of the pork added. Again, an extra 24-48 hours getting the bill ‘right’ would not have hurt anyone. If, when your ‘leadership’ is needed most you fail to lead, then you fail.
I also dislike Obama’s plan to “spread the wealth” plan. When did it become the governments job to take from the working class and give that money to others? Socialism?
These are not all the concerns I personally have with Obama. There are more, but these are the ones that weigh the most on me.
Do I believe he will win the 2008 election? yes. He has the momentum and I believe that the election numbers will be huge for him.
