How can you make an affective decision of who to vote for when the alternative candidates are not invited to participate in debates with the republican and democratic candidates?
Partly its to blame on the Democratic and Republican candidates whos parties and handlers don’t want the 3rd party candidates to usurp their candidates time. If you can have ten republican hopefuls at a debate in May, why cant you have six at a debate in October? This is a travesty and should not be allowed.
If the media does not insist that all the candidates be at debates, no one will. The public will not get to know each of the positions and everyone will remain polarized on the two party system even further marginalizing candidates who have good points and new ways of looking at problems.
